Glass types for this system will vary from 3/8” to ¾” with both Tempered and Laminated tempered glass. 3/8” Glass can go up to 90” tall. 3/8”
Frameless doors and sidelites are used only for interior applications. ½” Glass can be used up to 12’ in length. For Exterior applications a structural engineer will need to run calculations on anything over 10’ in length to ensure wind load requirements are met. 5/8” and ¾” are best for applications as they will meet wind load requirements.
Heavy glass doors need to be a Minimum 36” wide up to 48” wide. Max Height is 120”. Doors will have a top and bottom rail or a patch fitting if applicable. Doors also available with a sliding, stacking or folding feature.
